Run Wild is excited to offer our Spring 10 to 5k training program!
This program will be for those who would like to be able to run or run/walk a 5k. It is designed for basic walkers, novice runners and experienced runners, who want to begin or learn to maintain a consistent fitness program (running/walking) making a life style change in some cases.
If you are looking for camaraderie and accountability to get up and moving, the 10 to 5k program is for you.
There will be two weekly meetings, Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00, at various locations in the Shreveport/Bossier area.
The workout will begin with a dynamic warm-up, then participants will divide into groups based on their current fitness level for their run/walk session, then the group will meet at the end for a stretching session. You will receive weekly emails with meeting locations and other information that you may benefit from during your training. Throughout the training program, you will be guided by our expert coaches to achieve your goals, make lasting friendships, and memories.
Your entry fee will include: Coaching and 25% off of one pair of running shoes at Run Wild anytime during the course of the program. Those who finish 60% of the program will receive a 10 to 5k shirt and be entered in the graduation race, Dia de Taco 5k (includes race shirt).
