HAPPY HOMECOMING WEEK CARDINALS!!!
In conjunction with the 2017 homecoming festivities, the E.D. White Alumni Association will host the inaugural EDW's Guess Your Best Predictability Run.
‘What’s a predictability run?’ you may be asking.
Well, it’s a fun event in which the runners and walkers will arrive to start the race, knowing only the distance of the race. Upon registering for the race, each participant will have the opportunity to guess how fast (or slow) he/she can run/walk 2.42 miles. The route will not be known until arrival on race day.
The winner of the race will not necessarily be the participant that crosses the finish line first, but the person who finishes closest to their predicted time.
It is quite possible that the person that walks the whole route takes the crown on this event!
No cheating allowed … participants will not be able to use the aid of GPS watches or trackers while on the course.
The race is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 23rd at E.D. White.
So come out for great day of fellowship, and the chance to take part in a new craze that is sweeping the country!
