COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS
With Covid-19 still in the air, we will be sure to take appropriate precautions for the safety of our youth athletes and the safety of our staff and volunteers on race day.
At this time athletes will be encouraged to wear mask when not swimming, biking or running, as well as when you are within the finish line area. i.e. within transition area pre-race, while waiting on the pool deck for swim time, once across the finish line.
Spectators will be encouraged to wear when within the transition area pre-race and at the finish line.
Mask will be available for those needing/wanting a mask.
Social distancing will be in place within the transition area and where appropriate at the finish line area. Spectators are encouraged to observe social distancing as well.
All volunteers and staff will wear mask or face shields throughout the event.
As the CDC, VA and local guidelines are revised we will update our planned precautions accordingly.
