There are many Fourth of July weekend traditions that people, along with family and friends participate in to celebrate our amazing country. Many people enjoy parades, watch fireworks, or spend time at the grill cooking great food to share with friends and family, but this year try taking to the streets and put your patriotism on full display by participating in the Freedom Flag 5k Spirit Run.
This 5k event is about Uniting together to remember our founding fathers—the risks they took because of their belief in freedom that to this day allow us to hold our heads high and embrace that very freedom. It is also a time to remember that our freedom and liberty continue in large part because of those who lived and died serving our country as well as the many men and women who serve today and in the future.
*We ask that each registered participant please wear a red shirt.
All registered participants will receive their own 3x5 American Flag pre-attached to a flagpole which you will be able to keep. Together we will each carry the American flag along the Charles River, to Uniting As One and give our thanks and support to all those who serve. Come out and support the cause by running, walking, strolling or rucking this unique 5k event.*This is a family friendly event.
