Description
Syrup Stampede is a 5K run/walk to benefit Empty Arms Bereavement. Runners and walkers can register as teams or individuals – and have the option to fundraise as a team. Youth pricing available! (Price reduced when birthday is entered)
Since our new normal has us continually rolling with the punches and quick on our feet, we know not to get too comfortabe with the best of plans. Due to popular demand, we are comitted to returning to our pancake breakfast with local maple syrup and continuing with an assortment of kids activities.
Parking is $10 per car within Look Park. Free parking is available at JFK Middle School nearby.
Eary bird Bib Pick-up at Empty Arms Bereavement Support Office, 140 Pine St. Room B2, in Florence: Friday, March 31 at 4-6pm and Saturday, April 1 at 2-4pm. Day of bib pick-up starts at 9:00 Sunday, 4/2/23.
ABOUT EMPTY ARMS
Empty Arms Bereavement Support is a Western Massachusetts-based non-profit organization offering resources and support to families across the region who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, termination for medical reasons, or infant loss.

5K COURSE
Start to Mile 1: Follows around the park loop.
Mile 1 to Mile 2: Course continues along park loop until at 1.57 miles, the course takes sharp right and left onto the bike path.
Mile 2-3: Just past the 2 mile marker is the turnaround. The course heads back to the main gate. At 2.78-miles the course turns right on sidewalk into the park. At 2.95-miles turns left onto the loop road heading to the finish.
