Plymouth, MA US 02360
This is a great springtime race which travels along the herring run river (Town Brook/Jenny Ponmd)in Plymouth, MA.
Every year around the third week in April, herring make their way up the narrow rivers and tributaries from the ocean to spawn. Plymouth has one of the most active herring run rivers around. Runners will get the chance to "run where the herring run" this April 26th. In 2014 the race will be a part of the new Herring Run Festival hosted by Plimoth Plantation and the Plimoth Grist Mill.
