2. Your race swag will be available for pickup at our pre race packet pickups, or can be mailed to you at no additional cost. We will begin mailing virtual packets on April 16th.
3. You'll receive a text or email (if you opt in) when the race "starts" on April 13th.
4. Run your race and submit your results either by text message or email (if you've opted in) or by heading to the results page here by April 21st at 11:59 PM Eastern Time). Results update in real time as people submit their times. Be sure to take a selfie and post on social media with the hashtag #charmcityrun
5. Sit back and enjoy your swag!

If you participated in the 2021 Shamrock 5K and are registered for the 2021 Charles Street 12 you will be able to enter the B3 Distance Series during your Sole of the City 10K registration process. As we slowly return to racing in 2021, we want to be completely transparent with our policies regarding refunds, deferrals, and cancellations. If you are interested in signing up for this race please read this section carefully prior to registering.
We are optimistic that we will be able to hold the race in November, but want to protect your entry fee in case the race cannot be held as planned. For the 2021 Under Armour Sole of the City 10K presented by Kelly Benefits we will offer a refund of your in-person race registration fee (excluding the RunSignup processing fee) in the event that an in-person race cannot be held due to COVID-19. Race registration fees (and the processing charge from RunSignup) are not refundable for any other reason. These funds are used to pay for race premiums, permits, supplies, staffing, and other costs incurred before, during, and after the event is held. To be consistent and fair to everyone we cannot make exceptions to this policy.
We offer the option for registrants to defer their entry to the following year's event up to two weeks prior to the race (October 30, 2021). After this deadline passes we are unable to allow deferrals as race materials have been received and prepped for the event. Again, to be consistent and fair to everyone we cannot make exceptions to this policy. Registrants may defer their entry by going into their profile on runsignup.com and choosing "Manage Registration" next to the race. There is a $20 processing fee for any Deferral.
We offer the option for registrants to transfer their entry to another eligible participant up to two weeks prior to the race (October 30, 2021). After this deadline passes we are unable to allow transfers as race materials have been received and prepped for the event. Again, to be consistent and fair to everyone we cannot make exceptions to this policy. Registrants may transfer their entry to another registrant by going into their profile on runsignup.com and choosing "Manage Registration" next to the race. There is a $10 processing fee for any Transfer (paid by the new registrant).
2020 showed just how unpredictable our world can be, and the running industry was certainly no exception. We know that it's important to have as much information at your disposal when making a decision whether to sign up for a race or not, and we want you to know exactly what your options will be should the 2021 in-person race not be able to take place as originally planned. If we are forced to cancel the in-person race due to COVID-19 all registrants will be able to choose from the following options:
Please note that our regular cancellation policy found here applies to other scenarios that could prompt the cancellation of an event including weather, local emergencies, etc. If you have any questions about our cancellation policy please email us at email@example.com PRIOR to registering.
If you signed up for the in person event and would like to change to the virtual event you can make that change through your RunSignup account. Log on, click “Manage Registration” next to the race, click “Transfer Event,” and select the relay. Please note: you will not receive a credit or refund for any difference in price paid.
If you would like to switch from the virtual to the in person race race you can follow the same steps above. You will be charged any difference in registration fee from when you originally signed up to the current price.
