Description
Santa Fun Run 5K
The Benedict Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad is hosting the Santa Fun Run 5K!
This fun run/walk will take place at Serenity Farm, and the course will take you through the farm, gently rolling pastures & fields, and along the Patuxent River.
As a participant, you will enjoy the pre and post-race Bon Fire and Hot Apple Cider! Come mingle before stripping down to your swimsuit, festive holiday gear or costume and hitting the farm. Dress in Holiday Flair, slap some Jingle Bells on your shoes or paint some decorations across your chest, whatever you do, have fun!
As a spectator, you will watch the fools in Santa hats, swimsuits or customs jogging around the farm, through corn fields doing jumping jacks and singing Christmas Carols. Cheer them on, run up and give 'em a hug or blow them a warm kiss.
This event will occur rain or shine. We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances.
All proceeds will benefit the Benedict Volunteer Fire Department & Rescue Squad.
