Holiday Hustle

 An invitation to all running enthusiasts, BRRC members, and volunteers!  Join us to close out the BRRC’s racing season and celebrate the holidays!

5K run/walk and Buffet Brunch Social on Sunday, December 7 at 8:45 AM.  ***New Course this year:  Due to the ongoing construction on Loch Raven Drive, the race is moved to the north end at Peerce’s.  This out and back course is relatively flat with slightly gently rolling hills to speed you to the finish line. Following the race and awards, we will meet at McFaul’s for brunch—a convenient 4.5 miles from Peerce’s via Morgan Mill, Manor, and Cromwell Bridge roads.

Places:  Peerce’s  12460 Dulaney Valley Rd, Phoenix, MD 21131. Parking is available on the lot.

McFaul’s Iron Horse Tavern. Plenty of parking is available in the lot behind the restaurant.  Please do not park in the upper lot and consider carpooling where possible.

Awards:  First three overall Male/Female, First Male/Female in five-year age groups 40-90+  

Race Day:  8:15 AM  Registration and Pre registered bib pickup.  Race:  8:45  AM    Award Presentation:  9:45 AM    Brunch following:  10:00 AM-12 Noon

Brunch Buffet Menu:  Classic Scrambled Eggs, Breakfast Potato Hash, Seasonal Fresh Fruit Bowl, Thick Cut Applewood Smoked Bacon and Maple Sausage, Oven Baked Biscuits and Toast with Seasonal Jams and Jellies, Bagels and cream cheese.  * INCLUDES Unlimited Fountain Soda, coffees, and teas.

Donations:  Proceeds from this year’s race will benefit the Charlie Reynolds Memorial Scholarship Fund (details available at www.BRRC.com).  Any and all donations will be contributed to this fund.  Thank you in advance for your consideration.
