Description

Join us the morning of Sunday, October 11, 2020 in Silver Spring, MD for a race in memory of Kevin Stoddard. All proceeds go directly to the SuperHERO Foundation in Kevin's honor to help others fighting a superheroic battle against mental illness and addiction.

Challenge yourself and go for gold in the 5k! Or break out your best cape and channel your favorite superhero in the 1-mile fun run. Want to join the fun and donate to a good cause, but can't be there in person? Consider signing up for our virtual race and soar with us in spirit.

Superhero costumes are encouraged, and prizes will be given out for the most creative! We want to see superheroes of all shapes, sizes, and strengths embody Kevin's superhuman spirit, so bring on your capes, masks, and supernatural tricks. Superhero costumes are still encouraged for virtual registrants. Give your neighbors a thrill!

Refund Policy

We are currently not set up to process refunds; however, you will be able to transfer your registration to someone else if needed. Superhero 5k registrants will also be able to transfer their entry to the Virtual 5k option.

That said, we understand that unexpected circumstances may arise. If you are seeking information about refunds, please contact us directly at kevinstoddard5k@gmail.com or via the Contact page.

COVID-19 Policy

Safety is our top priority, so while we hope we will still be able to hold the race this fall, we will follow all social distancing guidelines from the local, state, and federal government. If we have to cancel the in-person race for public health safety, we will convert all registrations to our virtual race.

We hold this race every year to support our mission of supporting treatment access for those suffering from mental illness and addiction. Whether you’re with us in person or at a distance, we deeply appreciate your support.
