5k Sprint for Sustainability at The Boxberry School

This 5K Trail Run will be a combination of trail and dirt road- spring conditions may be in effect (i.e. be prepared for potential mud!) The race will be held on Sunday, May 19th at 9:00 a.m. Pre-registration via RunSignUp.com ends Friday, May 17th- pre-registration is $15 for adults and $5 for youth (under 18); Day of registration begins at 8:00 a.m.; $20 for adults and $10 for youth.
This is a fundraiser for The Boxberry School's Educating for Sustainability initiative, a framework for designing curriculum utilizing place based education, project based learning, service learning, and systems thinking. The Boxberry School is a K-6 independent elementary school  where children become enthusiastic, confident learners with an awareness and appreciation for the interconnectedness of all living systems. The Boxberry school is also a 501(c)3 organization.
