Description
Strap on your snowshoes, grab your significant other and come on down to Roberts Farm for the one and only World Championship Snowshoe Wife Carry! Similar events challenge you to carry your wife through mud and water hazards, but we up the ante by making you strap on snowshoes and run a winter obstacle course!
Bring your own snowshoes or borrow a pair from a friend. Can't find any snowshoes? Don't let that stop you. We have a warming hut filled with snowshoes of all sizes and shapes that you can borrow. #NoExcuses The race will run with 3 total divisions:
- Young Bjorn - High school
- The Open - competitive teams
- The Ironside - team combined 350#
The winning couple with the best time will receive belt buckles courtesy of TruStrength Athletics and both a $50 gift certificate and a growler of their favorite beer from Norway Brewing Company if of age. Smaller prizes will be awarded to division winners. $25 entry fee for adult couples; $10 for high schoolers.
