2018 Lions' 5K/2K Fun Run for Simple Kindness for Youth (S.K.Y.)

Join the Chassell Lions for the 5th annual 5k/2k Trail Run/Walk to benefit Simple Kindness for Youth. Simple Kindness for Youth's mission is to help young people build and maintain their self-esteem by providing means to access basic needs, enable them to feel accepted with their peers and enable access to educational activities and community participation. S.K.Y is a nonprofit organization formed by a group of individuals that saw a need to support children that may be denied opportunities due to financial difficulties. Please visit their website, www.simplekindnessforyouth.org for more information. Chassell Heritage and Chassell Recreation Organizations will also receive a portion from the run for their support of their facilities and preparation of the trails.

Saturday, July 7, 2018 @ 8:00am on the Chassell Trails behind the Chassell Heritage Center. Registration will open from 7:00am to 7:45am the day of the race. It is recommended you print the registration form and waiver of liability form in advance and register early. Please make checks payable to the Chassell Lions and send to: Lions Run for SKY, PO Box 22, Chassell MI 49916-0022. You can also register online at www.superiortiming.com/registration (just click on 2018 Lions' 5K/2K Fun Run for Simple Kindness for Youth (S.K.Y.). Fees are $20.00 for adults and $10.00 for children 14 and younger (includes t-shirt). Please specify on your registration form which run you would like to participate in, the 5K or the 2K. Fees are non-refundable.
