Belle Isle 'Spring Into Nature' 5K Run/Walk

ATTENTION - Update Information!!

The Belle Isle 'Spring Into Nature' is sorry to say that we will not be holding the event this year.  We had the date set, but ran into some logistical issues with conflicting events on Belle Isle that same day.  We explored various other options try to make this work, but regrettably it is not possible.  The Belle Isle 'Spring Into Nature"  looked at other dates, but additional scheduling conflicts with the organizing team makes the event difficult to hold for 2020.  And we cannot forget that once we get into May, scheduling our event on Belle Isle would increasingly interfere with Grand Prix setup.  

We are so sad to have to tell you this and will truly miss everyone this year.  This would have been our 15th year and it is near and dear to our hearts.  For the last 8 years, since we have been doing this for the Aquarium, we have raised $25,949 donated directly to them.  The Belle Isle 'Spring Into Nature' team is so proud of this and could not have done it without all of the workers, volunteers, and participants!!
   
 
We cannot thank you enough for all your help and support over the years and hope we will work together again!   
 
For those of you that already registered, we will be processing refunds.  We ask for your patience as we work through this, as it may take a few weeks.  You will receive a notification when it is processed.

PLEASE NOTE: Recreational passports will be required to get on Belle Isle. These can be purchased on Belle Isle or go to http://www.michigan.gov/dnr/ for information on other ways to purchase a passport. We highly recommend that you purchase your passport in advance to avoid any delays getting to the Aquarium the morning of the race. Thank you!

Pre-Registered $25, Event Day $30, Children under age 12 are FREE!

Registration

• On-line: go to www.macssportstiming.com, click on “REGISTER” and select this event.
• Mail-in: complete entry form and send checks, payable to Belle Isle Spring Into Nature, P.O. Box 43017, Detroit, MI 48243 (MUST be postmarked by April 19, 2020) • Event-day: 8:00-9:30 a.m. (cash or check only)

T-Shirts

• T-Shirts for all adult participants (12 & Older).
• No T-Shirts for youth 11 & Under.  Registration is free and Give-Away prizes are given for 11 & Under youth.
• Give-Away Prizes for children age 12 & Under.

Age Classes/Awards

• Overall Male and Overall Female Award
• Medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in the following age categories:
• 14 and Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and Over
