WPA Color Dash 1 Mile/5k Fun Run

Welcome to the party!

The 2nd Annual WPA Color Dash is a 1 Mile/5K Fun Run to benefit the Woodland Park Academy Playground Fund. This is a family friendly event for all ages. Participants will encounter different COLOR BLAST stations along the route, where they will be showered with color powder. We will have a DJ pumping up the crowd, 

This event is just for fun, therefore it is not sanctioned or timed. Both courses are cross-country courses entirely on grass, so please take the possible uneven terrain into account. 

All preregistered participants will receive their own color packet to use at the After Party, where we will be counting down the minutes until our group color throws! Just check in at the registration table between 9:30 and 10:45 AM to receive your packet and sign your waiver.

Registration will be open at 9:30 AM the morning of the event and will close promptly at 10:45 AM- 15 minutes before the start time of the first run. Color packets will be included with registration fee for those who preregister, and while supplies last for those who register after April 28th. .***Please note that an additional Waiver will be required to participate in this event. All minor participants must have a parent/guardian available to sign waiver. 

Additional color packets and T-shirts will be available for purchase at the event. Light concessions will also be for sale. 

• Color Dash Tips and Tricks: 
• -Wearing white/light colored clothing will help to ensure maximum color coverage
• -We recommend eyewear (sunglasses) and nose/mouth covers (bandanas) for those who may be concerned with powder getting into the eyes, nose, or mouth.
• -We recommend that individuals with breathing sensitivities practice extreme caution when deciding whether to participate in the Color Dash. This event is not recommended for those who suffer from moderate to severe respiratory issues. 
• -We encourge silliness! Bring on the crazy wigs, coordinating ensembles, and general wonkiness! 
• - The color powder may stain clothing and shoes. We don't recommend wearing your Sunday Best to this party! 

*Pre-Registration may be done in-person at Woodland Park Academy OR at The Complete Runner in Flint.
