Description

At Copper Country Snowsports Club, we unite Snowsports enthusiasts in a vibrant and inclusive community. Through camaraderie, skill-building, and exciting competitions, we create an environment for all skill levels to thrive. Our club embraces the beauty of winter landscapes, promotes safety, and encourages responsible sportsmanship. Join us to carve paths, push limits, and forge lasting memories in the snow.

Basic Description

Participants must be able to ride lift independently.
Our programs are designed for those that already are comfortable on the slopes and want to progress their skills further, through a fun, safe, and structured program (lessons are recommended through Mont Ripley to develop foundational skiing/snowboarding skills prior to entering CCSC).

Little Rippers Program (Formerly Intro Program)
Open to skiers up to age 12, recommended for younger participants. This is a program for kids who want to develop their skiing skills further with the intent of moving towards racing. If a skier decides that they want to join the full CCSC program, their payment will be used as a credit towards that membership. Practices are held on Saturdays (10am-12pm) and Sunday (2pm-4pm).
$250 first participant, $200 for each additional child(ren)

CCSC Program (Formerly Full Program)
Open to proficient skiers. This is a program for participants who want to further develop racing technique and foundational skills. Participants can practice up to four times per week (racer's choice, can vary by week). Practice is offered Saturday (10am-12pm skills and drills), Sunday (2pm-4pm skills and drills), Tuesday (4pm-6pm gate training), Wednesday (4pm-6pm gate training), and Thursday (4pm-6pm gate training).
$500 first participant, $400 for each additional child(ren)

MTU Alpine Ski Team
College ski team member fee. Athletes may train and race in all events scheduled throughout the year.
​$350 (all participants)

High School Racer Add-On Program
This add on program is available to high school ski team racers that are interested in club races and additional training through CCSC.
$200 (all participants, no additional child discount)

Snowboard Program
Open to advanced snowboards (target age 8-14), participants are able to maintain gear, load all lifts and ride the majority of runs independently on Mont Ripley. Program will focus on: safety and fun, all Mountain free-riding, jumping and intro to park skills, providing drills and educational resource for skill development, teaching riding in both regular and switch stance, jumping fundamentals (basic rotation 180 – 360), and introduction to riding in park environment​
Dates for freeride camp: ​Wednesday and Friday 4pm-6pm January 10, 12, 17, 19, 2023 
​$120 (all participants, no additional child discount)
