Mountain Bike Races:
Mountain bike races are back at the Michigan Tech Trails! Take part in beginner, sport or expert class races (9/14/29 miles) that are suited to cater all skill levels!
Junior Mountain Bike Camp:
We are excited to announce the Michigan Tech Athletics Department and Outdoor Adventure Program are partnering up to host a 5 day mountain bike camp for youth ages 13-20! Learn mountain bike skills, techniques, training methodology and racing tactics and strategies from some of the best mountain bike coaches in the country! New this year, live-in campers will stay in the MTU Wadsworth residence hall (the nicest on campus!). Commuter option still available for local campers. All camp prices include full-service dining 3 meals/day at our MTU residence hall as well as meals out at various mountain bike locations throughout the camp. Register now as this camp is limited to 24 campers!
*Mountain Bike Camp participants will receive $20 race admission if you register by May 31, 2018. Please contact Tom Smith thjsmith@mtu.edu for this camp race entry price discount!
Trail Run Races:
New this year are trail running races that will feature over 90% single track on our Tech Trails and a fun but challenging point-to-point course! Come sport your trail running tread in the only single track trail running race on the Michigan Tech Trails!
Bridgefest Partnership:
The Keweenaw Tread Fest & Bridgefest are happy to both be hosting running races this Father’s Day weekend in 2018! Bridgefest will host a 5km road running race on Friday, June 15th and Keweenaw Tread Fest will host a 15km trail running race on Sunday, June 17th.

*Please note construction at Houghton High School has impacted one of the ski trails in our 9/14/29 mi mountain bike courses. We've had to re-route the initial roll out for these three races and this is the updated course map. This will not effect the distance of each 9/14/29 mi mountain bike race.
