WMU Turkey Trot

About This Event

The WMU Turkey Trot is back in person!  You can run your race with everyone else at WMU or anywhere (your neighborhood, local park, trail, or even a treadmill).  

Live Event

• Two options for registration -
  • Just the Race (no shirt) - $25
  • All the Swag (Dri-Fit Race Shirt) - $40
  • Options will be completed during the registration process.
• Runners can have their items shipped to them (participants will pay the shipping fee) or pick up your shirt at our Packet Pick-Up.
• The in-person race begins Saturday, Nov. 23, at 8:30 a.m.

Packet Pickup Times

• Participants that choose the packet pick-up option will be able to pick up their items on Friday, Nov. 22, from 4 to 7 p.m.
• Dates and times are subject to change.
• The packet pick-up will be in the WMU Student Recreation Center - Indoor Tennis Courts.

Online Registration

• Online Regular Registration - Deadline Nov. 21, 11:59 p.m. EST ($25.00 Race Fee)
• Online Late Registration - Nov. 22 and Nov. 23 ($30.00 Race Fee)
• Register by Nov. 1 to guarantee your shirt size!
• Any registrations submitted after Nov. 1st will not be guaranteed their shirt size.

  • Runners who register for the virtual race can expect their packets shipped by 12/10/24.

Mail-In Registration

• No mail-in registrations - Online registrations only for 2024.

In-Person Registration

• In-Person Registrations will be accepted up until Nov. 23 at 8:15 a.m.

Virtual Event

• You can run your race with everyone else at WMU or anywhere (your neighborhood, local park, trail, or even a treadmill).  Once you have completed the virtual race, post your times at this link.  
• Two options for registration - 
  • Just the Race (No Shirt) - $25
  • All the Swag (Dri-Fit Race Shirt) - $40 an additional charge will be added.
  • Options will be completed during the registration process
• Runners can have their items shipped to them (participants will pay the shipping fee) or pick up your race add-ons at our Packet Pick-Up.  
• The virtual race begins Saturday, Nov. 23, at 8:30 a.m.

  • Only participants in the in-person race are eligible for Awards.
