This flat course will be run on the grounds of the Michigan State Police (MSP) Training Academy, 7426 N. Canal Road, Lansing, MI 48913. The Running Foundation will be on site to provide professional race timing. Medals will be given to all participants. Awards will be mailed to the overall male and female, overall masters male and female, and the top two individuals in each age group (men and women).
Packet pick up is Friday, May 21, 2021, from 3 - 6 p.m., or on race day from 8 - 8:45 a.m. Participants registered by April 30, 2021are guaranteed a race t-shirt.
Start time: 9 a.m.
If you are unable to make the Bolt for the Heart Run/Walk in person, you can complete the Virtual Bolt for the Heart 5K Run/Walk or 10K Run. Run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. Visit https://runsignup.com/Race/MI/Lansing/BoltfortheHeart for additional information.

A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym or on the track (or even at another race). You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. All participants will receive a medal!
What: This is a Virtual race, so you choose your own course and time yourself.
When: Complete your race any time on or before May 21, 2020! Medals will ship at the end of May.
Why: We want to spread awareness of our mission to place an AED in each MSP patrol car.
Cost: The price is $25 and includes a finishers medal. T-shirts are available for $10.

* Free entry is valid until April 30th, then it's a $25 (5k)/$35 (10K) discount off your entry fee with a $50 donation. 5K/10K entry fee will be $5. Valid for the 5K, 10K, and Virtual event.
