3rd Annual American 5k

The American 5k is just what it sounds like. It is a race that has a sense of pride to it. Wear your Red, White, and Blue gear on out the day of the race to show your love of this country. The race will be held at the Swartz Creek High School in the main parking lot by the entrance of the football field. It is a 5k run/walk strollers are welcomed. The course will be a flat around a neighborhood and finishing on the Swartz Creek premises. There will be water at the halfway point, and then water and fruit at the end. Late Registration on race day starts at 7:30 am and stops 15 minutes before the start of the race. Race starts at 8:30 am with the playing of the National Anthem.

The money raised will go to a Non-profit veteran charity called Paws and Warriors.  The money will help a veteran get service animals free of cost and the training for the animal will be taken care of.

Shirts will be available till September 30th after that shirts are not guaranteed. Everyone will receive a finisher medal that will show your pride for the USA and for the animals that help those who have served.
