Description
Enjoy the fall colors while running a beautiful wooded 8K course. The course is a combination of paved wooded trails and side streets in the small town of Big Lake, Minnesota. The course is mostly flat with a few very smalls hills on the trail portion. This is a smaller race for those who enjoy a less crowded venue. Run in costume and win a trophy there will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Trophies awarded for best costume in Boys and Girls Under 17 and Adults 18 and Over.
There will be 2 water stops along the route. A snack and water will be provided at the finish line.

Discount for Veterans
PumpkinFest would like to honor all Veteran's who register for the race. On race day, show your current or former, Military ID or other proof of service at the registration table and receive a $5 cash back. All Veterans who are registered for the race and have completed payment are eligible for the $5 cash back: active, retired, disabled and former.
Additionally, we will also be honoring Veteran's with a balloon release at 7:45 the morning of the race. Come early to write the name of a Veteran you want to honor on a balloon, there is no charge for this.
