Shamrox Run 5K - Columbia

Description

Paint Columbia green on March 14th for a St. Patrick’s Day celebration you will not want to miss! The ShamRox 5K Run is a St. Patty’s Day themed road race. Sign up for the 5K or the Virtual 5K. The race starts and finishes at Bonnie View Nature Sanctuary in Columbia, MO. The festive atmosphere may be enjoyed throughout the race course and includes your St. Patrick’s Day race SWAG! ShamRox Run is the perfect St. Patrick’s Day celebration!

Packet Pick Up

Packet Pick up will be a drive through style on Saturday March 13th 2:00p-6:30p at Cosmo Park. To help minimize congestion we will be allowing participants to pick up friends and family members race packets. There will be NO RACE DAY PACKET PICK UP due to concerns of capacity limitations. If you are unable to come to Packet Pick Up on Saturday you may choose to have your packet mailed to you (This option will only be available until February 23rd).

Wave #1-8:30am

Wave #2-8:50am

Wave 3#-9:10am

Wave 4#-9:30am

Wave 5#-9:50am

***Do not come to race site until 20 minutes prior to your start time.

***While waiting for your start time go to the warm up area located in the grass area southwest of the start line.

Awards Ceremony

For 2021 we will not have an official Awards Ceremony. You will be able to pick up your awards at the Ultramax Tent at the Finish Line 11:00a-12:00p on Saturday. If you are unable to pick up your awards on Sunday it will be available for pick up starting on Monday at Fleet Feet located: 505 E Nifong Suite 106, Columbia MO.

Awards will be given out 4 deep in Male and Female in each age category:

1-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-+

COVID-19 Statement

Ultramax Sports will have several COVID19 protocols in place to provide a safe and fun event. These protocols will include:

Time Trial & Wave Start to help with social distancing at the race site and out on the course.
Live Online Results to avoid crowds around result area.
Drive-through Packet Pick Up on Friday at Cosmo Park.
The ability to pick up friends and family members race packets.

We are working with the city of Columbia and the Boone County Health Department to make sure we are in compliance with current health restrictions. If the restrictions are such that it makes it impossible to hold an in-person event, Ultramax Sports will turn the event into a virtual race. All participants will still receive all their event swag and will have access to the RaceJoy App to give it more of an event atmosphere. If you do not feel comfortable with the in-person atmosphere we can switch your race entry to the virtual race option at any time prior to race day.
