Shamrox Run 5K - Columbia

Packet Pick up will be a drive through style on Saturday March 13th 2:00p-6:30p at Cosmo Park. To help minimize congestion we will be allowing participants to pick up friends and family members race packets. There will be NO RACE DAY PACKET PICK UP due to concerns of capacity limitations. If you are unable to come to Packet Pick Up on Saturday you may choose to have your packet mailed to you (This option will only be available until February 23rd).

***Do not come to race site until 20 minutes prior to your start time.

***While waiting for your start time go to the warm up area located in the grass area southwest of the start line. 

For 2021 we will not have an official Awards Ceremony.  You will be able to pick up your awards at the Ultramax Tent at the Finish Line 11:00a-12:00p on Saturday. If you are unable to pick up your awards on Sunday it will be available for pick up starting on Monday at Fleet Feet located: 505 E Nifong Suite 106, Columbia MO.

Awards will be given out 4 deep in Male and Female in each age category:

1-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-+ 

There will be limited parking at the race site, additional parking will be available at Fairview Elementary.  To get to the race site you can either take Rollins Road or the Fairview Park Trail.  If you take the trail please be aware that is part of the race course and keep an eye out for participants. 

Ultramax Sports will have several COVID19 protocols in place to provide a safe and fun event. These protocols will include:

• Time Trial & Wave Start to help with social distancing at the race site and out on the course.  
• Live Online Results to avoid crowds around result area.
• Drive-through Packet Pick Up on Saturday at Cosmo Park.  
• The ability to pick up friends and family members race packets.  

Shamrox Columbia 2021 has been approved by Boone County Health Department with the following restrictions: 

• Participants must not attend if they have had any COVID-19 Symptoms. Such as: fever, cough, difficulty breathing, chills, headache, sore throat
• Participants must wear a mask while waiting to start the race and once they cross the finish line
• Participants will start 1 at a time with 5 seconds between each racer
• Participants are to arrive no more than 20 minutes prior to their wave start
• Aid Stations to only have bottled water. Participants are to grab their own water.
• No Spectators will be allowed at the event
• Participants are to maintain social distancing
• Participants are to return to their cars once they finish their race
• Photos are only to be taken with members of their own household
