Join us on Sunday September 25, 2022 at the Great Plains 10K! The race will start and finish at the beach at Longview Lake in Kansas City, MO. This flat and fast course around Longview Lake will provide a picturesque setting for the run. If you are looking for a PR this is a great course for it. In addition to the great course, participants in the chip timed 10K will receive a great event shirt, large finishers medal, and custom bibs. Participants will also be eligible for top overall, masters and age group awards. Post event snack and beverages will also be provided. Packet pickup is from 10am to 2pm on Saturday, September 24 at the KC Running Company store at 200 E 135TH Street in KCMO. Leftovers from packet pickup will be taken to the race for pickup on race day.
Participants will compete for top overall male and female finishers, top male and female masters finishers, and top three male and female finishers in each of the following age groups: 19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80+.
