Description
The Knob Noster State Park Nature 9K will offer racers an excellent chance to see a beautiful section of the park in mid Spring. 9K participants will start at the Clearfork Shelter and travel to the Opossum Hollow Trailhead. Once there, racers will run along a dirt-surfaced trail through woodlands filled with wildflowers. After following the trails's main loop, participants will travel back to the shelter to finish. Refreshments will be available after the race, and awards will be presented to top finishers in each age division, and overall finishers.
Entry fee includes a custom-designed, moisture-wicking t-shirt for registrations received before April 17, 2015.
Awards will be given for males and females as follows: Top 3 overall (removed from age groups)
Top finisher in 0-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.
Race will be held rain or shine. Missouri State Parks reserves the right to postpone or cancel the race in the event of dangerous weather. In the event of a cancellation, there will be no refunds.
All proceeds benefit Missouri State Parks.
Refunds will not be available.
