The team at GO! St. Louis is excited to bring participants an in-person race this fall, and even more excited to do it with the annual favorite tradition - the Great GO! St. Louis Halloween Race!  This year’s race will be different - no doubt - but still have all of the great amenities and seasonal fun you can count in a GO! St. Louis event!

The 13.1 mile race will be staged at Missouri Research Park at the intersection of I-64 and Highway 94 in St. Charles County.  The timed, certified course will run on paved paths and crushed gravel as it travels from Busch Greenway to the Hamburg Trail to the Katy Trail in a one-loop course. As an added bonus - this is a fast course with some huge downhill sections and lots of flat ground to cover!

The event start will be spread over several hours to allow for very low density at the start and finish areas and on the course.  Runners will begin the race in small, assigned waves between 7:00am and 9:30am.

All runners receive a super-soft Halloween-themed hooded sweatshirt, custom Great Halloween Race face mask, glitter-filled Halloween finisher’s medal, post-race snacks and a cold Schalfly beer! Not to mention an official half marathon time on a real, certified course to give you the credit you deserve for keeping at it these last months of the pandemic racing drought!

Registration Open for in-person half marathon:  September 17 - October 16.

We're also offering this event as virtual with three different distances to choose from - complete a virtual half marathon, 10k or 5k! Even as a virtual event, this race has premium swag, super fun Halloween themes, and even some trick-or-treat surprises in your goody bags!

Registration Open for virtual:  September 1 - October 31.

Complete a virtual half marathon, 10k or 5k to earn all of this year's awesome and festive treats, including:

  • premium softstyle hooded sweatshirt - with a special 2020 design!
  • commemorative medal
  • a fun (and useful!) Great Halloween Race themed mask
  • trick or treat bag of race goodies at drive through packet pick-up
