It is time for our 14th Annual event! While we are so blessed with all of the support we have received over the last 14 years, we are also reminded that it has been 14 years since we lost our beloved Julia. She touched so many lives while she was with us, and is still touching so many lives today, through this event. We are so excited to continue Julia's legacy by holding this race for the 14th year, while raising and donating money to some amazing organizations and individuals.
Once again, we will be holding our event at SMITHVILLE LAKE ! We will start at finish the race at the Little Platte Beach area - this will allow for plenty of parking, a section of road running, then hitting the paved trails to see the beauty of the lake on a beautiful fall morning ! As always we will pray for a beautiful fall morning for the event.
Sign up today for our 14th annual race in memory of Julia Bargman. Julia lost her battle with Breast Cancer, November 10, 2010. Her family and friends are continuing her legacy with this event, in hopes to raise awareness for early Breast Cancer Detection and to help raise funds to find a cure!!! Proceeds from our event are donated to the Saint Lukes Foundation Center for Womens Care and the Julia Bargman Hope Foundation. Family/ Teams
Gather your family, friends, co-workers, gym buddies, school organization, or your neighbors and form a team of 4 or more participants !! Show your support for Breast Cancer Awareness and see if you can get the largest team!! See if you can capture the Traveling trophy that was won by TAH Crossfit the last 3 years! So spread the word and form your team now ! Let's raise awareness and STOP Breast Cancer !! Special discounts apply to teams of 4 or more!!
Post Race Free Will Donation Breakfast
We hope you will join us this year for our post race breakfast !! As in the past breakfast will be served by The Sons of the American Legion Squadron 58. Again this year the charge is by donation only - and the Sons are graciously donating their time to prepare a wonderful breakfast of Biscuits & Gravy, juice and coffee after the race . We are so lucky to have had these wonderful men volunteer for our race for all 14 years!!! So please join us for breakfast after the race at the American Legion Building - located at 2607 NE 92 Hwy, Smithville.
There will be a donation bucket at the door for you to donate whatever amount you can or want to for the breakfast. Proceeds to benefit the Julia Bargman Hope Foundation.

Awards
Following the Finish of the 5K - Awards will be presented to the overall top 3 male and female finishers.
This year we will not be doing age group awards and concentrating on our Breast Cancer Survivors and showing them how much we support their needs. in the past we have so many awards left over, we feel it is best to focus on them.
