Olive Twigs presents the 5th annual Twigs Half Marathon & 5K

Benefiting Le Bonheur Children's Hospital and local scholarships for 5 Desoto County Schools!!

•Cash Prizes to the overall male and female of the Half Marathon & 5K!
•Dri-tech shirts for both distances!
•Finisher medals for Half Marathoners and 5K runners!
•Awards to age group winners in the top 3 male and female! 
•After party and music provided by DJ Eric Boyland!
•Beer provided by A & B Distributing Company for registered runners! 
•We will provide GU energy gels for Half Marathon runners beginning around mile 5. Water stops are provided throughout the race course.

Our new venue will be the Cotton Gin located in Old Towne Olive Branch, MS!

•Expo event times are March 31, 2017, 1:00-8:00 p.m. and April 1, 2016, 6:30 a.m.- 11:30 a.m.
•Packet pick up dates: The Cotton Gin, March 31, 2017, 1:00-8:00 p.m. and April 1, 2017, 6:30 a.m.-7:30 a.m. You may register the same day of the race, but there will be a $5.00 price increase.
•In order to secure your correct race participant shirt, you must register by 8 a.m. March 20, 2017!
•Half Marathon starts at 8 a.m.
•5K starts at 8:15 a.m.
•TIME LIMIT: To take full advantage of all race support, half marathoners should maintain a 20-minute/mile pace.
•The race will be chip timed by Best Times.  


Overall Winner Awards go to the following in the Half Marathon and 5K:
Overall male and female, Male and Female Masters, and Male and Female Grandmasters.

Age Group Awards go to the following in the Half Marathon and 5K:
0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
