Description
The Bozeman Color Me Fun Run is a chance to run, walk, skip or dance through a 5K course (with an optional shortcut (2.6K) for our younger runners). Along the course you, your friends and our community will get covered in bright, colorful fun color powders at a series of color stations, ending in a series of color celebrations at the end! ALL proceeds from this race go to support elementary arts & fitness programs in the Gallatin Valley, including $10 to YOUR elementary school of choice.

Race Day Info and Race Policies
PACKET PICK UP: Packet Pick Up will be held October 3rd, the THURSDAY before the race at Gallatin Valley Mall from 10am until 8pm for Gallatin Valley residents. If you are traveling from out of town, you may pick up packets from 7:30am-8:30am near the starting line on race day!
Once at the race, please line up according to the following waves:

Strollers - Running
Walkers
Strollers Walking or with families
Waves will be released by countdown from the emcee. Remember this race is untimed. The more patient you are, the more fun you’ll have and the better chance for color!
The Race Route and Short Cut: All racers will start together. Those who wish to take the 2.6K shortcut should look for signs and volunteers at Ravalli & Fowler to ensure you continue toward the remaining color stations.
Finish Line & Color Celebration: As you cross the finish line, make sure you receive your color. When you get your color packet, look for the color celebration signs and gather around! Once there, rip open your packet, wait for the countdown, then toss and celebrate! Additional color packets will be available for sale at the registration tent if you want to do it again!
Race Policies
NO Dogs
NO Scooters, bikes or in-line skates.
Strollers must line up in the appropriate waves for everyone’s safety and enjoyment
Your race bib must be pinned to the FRONT of whatever you are wearing
Being this is Montana, we will run in rain, shine, or snow
Parents are responsible for supervision of their child at all times
Color Tips
Wear your race t-shirt or other white shirt. Color should wash out of clothes but is not guaranteed so wear clothing you can get color on!
The powder is an FDA approved, non-toxic, dyed cornstarch. However, sunglasses are recommended for eye protection as well as neck scarves to keep from breathing in too much powder. A blanket works great to cover young children in strollers. The powder can be a mild irritant for those with medical issues, so we recommend those with asthma/breathing issues talk to their doctor, not be in the middle of the color celebration and go around color stations and let volunteers at stations know to keep the color to a minimum. A clean up station will be provided at the finish, but we suggest having towels for your car seats after the run to protect your seats

Ziplock bags are great to bring to protect your phone or camera and to carry cash or cards to buy additional color packets, sunglasses or race swag!

Parking is available in the Mall parking lot only, please do not use the surrounding businesses.
