Team packets will be pre-made and will be at Fleet Feet Blue Dome for pickup during packet pickup. Each packet will include 3 race bibs (all the same number) and three shirts.
Each member of the team will receive a race number that must be worn (on the front of your body, and visible) and all three race numbers are the same. You just need to wear the race number, no timing chip will need to be passed from one runner to the next.
The first runner will run from the start to Beer Stop #1, at Elgin Park. Runner #2 should be waiting for runner #1 at Beer Stop #1. Runner #1 will drink the beer at Stop #1, then tag runner #2 to start that runner on their leg. Runner #2 will run from Beer Stop #1 (Elgin Park) to Beer Stop #2 (Fassler Hall). Runner #2 should be waiting at Beer Stop #3 (Fassler Hall) and runner #2 will drink the beer at Stop #2, then tag runner #3 to start that runner on their leg. Runner #3 will run from Beer Stop #3, to Beer Stop #3 (just before the finish line). Runner #3 will drink the beer at Beer Stop #3, then proceed to the finish line to complete the relay.
Runner #2 and Runner #3 should report to the Elgin Park Beer Stop (Runner #2) and the Fassler Hall Beer Stop (Runner #3) and wait near the front of the stop, to the side, out of the way of incoming runners. Once your teammate approaches, you can join them as they enter the stop to drink their beer, then they will tag the next runner so that runner can proceed.
IMPORTANT: Runner #3 must be the first team member to cross the finish line - if you are Runner #1 or Runner #2, you may cross the finish line to join the post race party, but do not do so until Runner #3 has crossed the line (you can all cross together).
