Turkey Derby 5K

The East Davie Civic Club cordially invites you to join us for our 8th Annual Turkey Derby 5k race to be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019.  The race will feature a 3.1 mile USATF-certified course that will begin and end at the beautiful Bermuda Run Country Club.

 The proceeds of each year's Turkey Derby will benefit several local programs in the area including Backpack Buddies programs throughout Davie County Schools, a program that provides non-perishable food items to students to provide nourishment through the weekend, Davie County GO FAR Clubs which promotes physical activity, healthy eating, and good character, Davie County Homebound Meals which provides nourishment for senior citizens, as well as other worthy charity projects in our area.

Event details and schedule
When? Saturday, November 23rd @ 9 am (registration from 7:30-8:30 am)

Where? Bermuda Run Country Club

Cost? $25 until November 5th, $30 after midnight. The race is capped at 450 Runners - register early! Make checks payable to: Hillsdale Sunrise Rotary Club, 120 Kinderton Blvd-Suite 100, Bermuda Run NC 27006. 

Packet Pick-up? Friday, November 22nd, 4:30 - 6:30 pm @ Meg Brown Home Furnishings 5491 Hwy 158, Bermuda Run, NC 27006. Packets may also be picked up on race day until 8:30am at the Bermuda Run Clubhouse.

Awards! The first 200 participants will receive a long sleeve t-shirt and goodie bag. Overall Top 3 Males and Females in each age category will receive awards.

Parking: Parking is limited; arrive early and carpool if at all possible.
