Jack O Lantern Jaunt 3.1 Miles

Join us for the 6th Annual Vac & Dash Jack O Lantern Jaunt.  The run will be part of an evening of activities in Downtown Albemarle. 

The 6th Annual Vac & Dash Jack O Lantern Jaunt will begin at 6:15 pm at Vac & Dash.  The run is free. If you would like an awesome purple Jack O Lantern T-shirt it is $15.00.

Running in a Halloween costume is always a fun option.  Please bring a flashlight, as it will be dark out.  This year's route will take you from Vac & Dash to Rock Creek Park and back.

At 7:15 pm, we will have the Vac & Dash Paqui One-Chip Challenge with ten people competing for a $100.00 prize.  All you have to do is eat one tortilla chip, made with Carolina Reaper peppers, and go five minutes without drinking milk to win.  If more than one accomplish the task, prize money will be split.  Participants will get a limited edition Vac & Dash Paqui One-Chip Challenge t-shirt.

 October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. As part of Vac & Dash's commitment to giving back to the community, donations will be accepted for the Esther House of Stanly County. As part of the Fall Festival, the Esther House is sponsoring a Paint the Town Purple evening on October 26 in Downtown Albemarle to raise Awareness of Domestic Violence.
