Description
The Uwharrie Running Club's Running 101 take runners from zero to a 5K. The class begins on Monday March 9th at 6:15 pm at Vac & Dash. Classes will meet weekly to prepare runners for the 10th Annual Beach Blast 5K that will be held on May 9th. Classes will be held weekly.

The classes will be held at the future location of Vac & Dash: 154 S. First St. Albemarle, NC 28001.
Entry fee of $40.00 includes a t-shirt and entry to the Beach Blast 5K. Each session starts with a 15-20 minute seminar followed by a group run/walk. Plenty of Uwharrie Running Club members will be on hand to help mentor you while you run.
Must be 16-Years old to participate.
On Sunday, March 8th, Vac & Dash will host a meet and greet with class participants and Uwharrie Running Club mentors at 4:00 pm at the future location of Vac & Dash. More details to follow.
