Description
North Carolina Outward Bound School (NCOBS) is hosting a Gran Fondo style, timed bike ride in honor of Collier Lilly. The ride offers two beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain routes, the 83 mile Gran route with 8,600 feet of climbing and the 46 mile Medio with 3,600 feet of climbing, that will start and end at Carrie Park in Asheville. In keeping with Outward Bound’s bedrock principles of “challenge and discovery,” the Collier Lilly Ride for NCOBS will take riders over challenging mountain passes and allow them to discover scenic roads for the first time.
