Description
The North Carolina Outward Bound School (NCOBS) is hosting a half-century bike ride in honor of Collier Lilly. The ride offers a beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains route, the 50 mile half century with 3,600 feet of climbing, that will start and end at Carrier Park in Asheville. In keeping with Outward Bound's bedrock principles of "challenge and discovery," the Collier Lilly Ride for NCOBS will take riders over challenging mountain passes and allow them to discover scenic roads for the first time. This exciting event is being held on Memorial Day Weekend and in conjunction with the ever popular Mountain Sports Festival.
