After careful consideration we have decided it is in everyone’s best interests to cancel Wedge Run 10k for 2020. There is no way for us to feel 100% confident that our makeup date of October 10th will be viable and we don’t feel comfortable promoting it in the current circumstances. You will have the option of a refund, or if you choose you can donate your entry to ARC and we will use the funds to support the club. ARC is a 501c3 non-profit so any donations are fully tax deductible. We plan on bringing back Wedge Run 10k when it is safe to do so. Stay safe everyone and we hope to see you very soon.
Join us on Saturday, October 10th for a flat and fast 10k. Start and finish at the Wedge at Foundation on this out-and-back course.
In addition to the 10k, we will host a 1-mile kids run around the Foundation. Bring your whole family!
Post-race festivities include live music, great food, and Wedge Brewing beer. Participants over the age of 21 will get a free beer with their registration.

100% of the proceeds of the Wedge Run 10k support non-profits in our community. Our race hosts, the Asheville Running Collective, are a post-collegiate running team focused on promoting and supporting road, track, and trail racing in Western North Carolina. We've partnered with local nonprofits each year, such as Girls on the Run of WNC and The Literacy Council of Buncombe County.
