Description
Grab your Santa hat and hit the beach for Carteret Partnership for Children’s First Annual Santa Beach Walk/Run 5k! The Santa Beach Run is a great way to celebrate the holiday season and support one of Carteret County’s favorite charities. The starting line is at the historic Atlantic Beach Circle in Atlantic Beach, NC. You will dash on the iconic scenic beach while raising money to help children in our local community. There is also a Reindeer Fun Run 50-yard walk/run. It is free to 8-year-olds and under. Please sign a waiver for each child.
The race package includes a santa hat, beard, and medal! Wear your favorite Christmas outfit or red shorts and a red shirt!
The first 100 registered individual participants will receive a Race T-shirt.
The top male and female 5K race winners will be awarded a trophy.
Best Holiday Dressed Team-$20 registration per Team -Bring your friends. You do not have to Run! Just come dressed to Impress Santa! If you decide to run, each runner must complete an individual registration to participate in the race. The Winning Team receives the Christmas Trophy!
Judging will take place after the race at approximately 10:30 am. WE CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU!!
This is not a timed race or sanctioned race.
