The Run Walk to Save Lives!
Drug and alcohol substance abuse has touched many friends and families. More North Carolinians are dying from opioid overdoses than in traffic accidents (in 2018, 4.8 people per day). Run to Recovery's objectives: 1) raise awareness of this epidemic; 2) raise scholarship money for men that cannot pay for their treatment (counseling, shelter and medicine) in the Loaves and Fishes’ recovery program. This is a Christ-centered ministry for men battling drug addiction and alcoholism (registered public charity, 501 (c) (3).
