JUST TRYAN IT Kids Triathlon

JUST TRYAN IT seeks to positively impact the lives of families whose children have been diagnosed with cancer by providing them with financial assistance. We strive to instill the importance of philanthropy and service, promote wellness, and inspire tomorrow's leaders to make a difference in their communities.

JUST TRYAN IT is a fun, supportive and family oriented event that celebrates the individual achievements of our young athletes and fundraisers. Our triathlon is our primary fundraising event of the year, and it provides us the opportunity to support participating families whose goals include instilling a sense of philanthropy and service in their children. Each racer is required to fundraise a minimum of $50 to receive their race packet and bib number.  Additionally, there is a race entry fee of $50 which only covers the cost of the triathlon itself. No portion of the registration fee goes to the families that we support.

REGISTRATION DETAILS
The 2016  JUST TRYAN IT Triathlon will be held on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at the Chapel Hill Country Club, 103 Lancaster Road in Chapel Hill.

Registration will open to 400 participants.
Entry fee is $50 per racer and each racer must meet an additional minimum fundraising goal of $50.
Eligible racers will be between 6 and 16 years old as defined by their age on race day.

RACE COURSE SELECTIONS
MINI Course:  (suggested for 6-9 year olds) SWIM: 25 yards, BIKE: 1 mile, RUN: 0.5 mile
SHORT Course:  SWIM: 50 yards, BIKE: 2 miles, RUN: 1 mile
LONG Course:  SWIM: 100 yards, BIKE: 4 miles, RUN: 2 miles
