Description
The historical and beautiful Flowers Plantation awaits you to register and see for yourself why this community has been awarded one of the best in North Carolina. The USATF-Sanctioned 5K will traverse you through different neighborhoods and past the famed Dr. Watson Inn. Challenge yourself at this year's Flowers Plantation Gobble Till You Wobble 5K supporting the Smithfield Rescue and Clayton Minstries Food Banks.
All early-registered 5K participants will receive a t-shirt ... awards & prizes will be presented (Top-3 overall as well as 55+ (male and female)) and a number of on-site sponsors will be providing freebees to select from.
The Gobble Till You Wobble 1 Miler is a kid-friendly event where "giving to others" can be taught to the youngest of ages. Entry into the 1 Miler is just two cans of food per entry so there is no registration for this event. There is no t-shirt; but, freebees from various sponsors will be made available and you just never know what is in store until you come and join us! Start time is at 10:30am with the course being around our Club Lake.
