Our Mission

The International Run for NIM is a fundraising event to raise money for the work and ministry of Nehemiah International Ministry.  NIM travels to many Third World countries to equip and train the body of Christ in many different venues from Leadership conferences, to local churches and individuals.

Why does NIM do what it does?

In Ephesians 4 it says that there are gifts given to the body for the purpose of equipping and training the body of Christ to fulfill the ministry God has given them.  So we help put practical tools in the hands of the body to help them grow and mature, so that they won't be continually tossed back and forth.  We do this through Nehemiah Bible Intensive, local churches coming together for 3 to 5 days for teaching and training, hut to hut evangelism, a school of ministry and leadership development.

NIM goes into poor areas where they cannot afford many of the luxuries that we enjoy here in America.  So NIM goes at no cost to them, and we help raise funds to feed the people, house pastors and their wives, create notebooks and materials for them to use in their ministries, on top of that there is the cost of travel, food, and accommodations.  It is well worth the sacrifice and effort to reach many of the people that have no opportunity for further learning and growth.

Current Needs

If all 5k expenses are covered by sponsorship, the remaining sponsorship funds will be used towards these projects NIM is involved in:

* Help building a school in Kayunga, Uganda, where over 250 students are taught.

* Help with the building of adding on space for Wings of Faith Ministries for orphans that have been abandoned.  Currently there are about 40 children in this orphanage.

* Continue to create and have translated good Bible teachings for leaders and churches.

* Continue to mentor, counsel, teach, and coach pastors and leaders in Third World countries.

* Provide opportunities for pastors to come to the USA for further training and mentoring.
