Description
RunTimeRaces is hosting the inaugural Secret Santa Shuffle 4 Mile Run & Elf Dash (6/10 of a mile) in conjunction with Santa Cops. This course will start and finish at Conover City Park with a relatively flat 4 mile course. We're asking each participant to bring an unwrapped NEW toy on race day for a chance to win $100 VISA gift card (you will be entered into a drawing to be held immediately following the awards ceremony. You must be present to win.) Toys will be presented to Santa Cops at Christmas in the Park (Conover) on Tuesday, December 6th. All online monetary donations will be donated to the Santa Cops program as well. As a RunTimeRaces produced event, be assured this event will be well organized and leave you with an Awesome Race Experience.
Best Christmas Themed Outfit Contest: We're excited to share we have partnered with Sheetz for the Secret Santa Shuffle. A $100 Gift Basket will be awarded to the participant with the best Christmas themed outfit!!!
Early Registration through 11:59 pm on Tuesday, November 22nd includes a FREE RACE TEE. Race Day Registration opens from 7:15 am - 8:15 am Race Day (No race T-shirt will be included during Race Day Registration). You must have the proper amount for cash payment on race day, no checks accepted.

Given to the top 3 male & female finishers, and top Overall Masters male and female. Awards will go to the top 3 male and female 5k finishers in the following age groups:

Santa Cops
The Conover Police Department is currently working on our 8th annual Santa Cops program. This program was designed to help families in need be able to give their children an unforgettable Christmas. The children we helped would not have had much for Christmas but through this program they were given gifts of toys and sometimes clothes. We can personally tell you we visited some homes where the children had very little toys and clothes. The smiles on their faces will be in our memories forever.
If you know of a family that you believe may benefit from this program please let us know so we can try to help them. Please download the application form, print it, fill it out and return to the Conover Police Department no later than December 11th.
Also, we do have some children that are in need of clothes. If you are interested in purchasing an outfit please contact Officer Shannon Grindstaff at 828-464-4698.
