Description
Join the Piedmont Pacers Running, Track & Field Club as we host our Third Annual "Fill the Sleigh 5K, Fun Run and Team Challenge" at Northeast Park in Guilford County NC, near the town of Greensboro NC. This race will also be the World Running League 5k Trail Championship.
The start of the race will begin at 9:00AM with late registration and packet pickup beginning at 7:00AM.
An exciting and family-friendly 5 Kilometer (3.1 mile) competitive race course awaits and the Fun Run option is a 1-mile loop around the Northeast Park and great for everyone (strollers ok for fun run) wanting to enjoy a fun run with a holiday theme.
There is also team challenge for runners in the competitive 5K. Due to safety issues please avoid bringing dogs or other animals to the event.
We will be "Filling the Sleigh" by encouraging everyone to bring wrapped gifts to benefit the Ricky Proehl P.O.W.E.R. of Play Foundation for needs for children in our local community. Along with gifts, proceeds from the event will also go to this worthwhile organization.
This is also the 5k Trail Championship for the World Running League (more details at http://www.worldrunningleague.com) and overall male and female, masters male and female (over age 40), age group winners (over age 19) and the winning team will win attractive WRL-branded awards

Pick up your packets at Fleet Feet Greensboro, located at 3731 Lawndale, Greensboro NC 27455, on Friday, Dec. 15th from 4:00-7:00pm.
