Description
Welcome back to Perry Harrison's Run for the Mariners Family 5k! It is a great course with a mix of quiet streets and a few moderate hills to break up the pace. This is a family friendly 5K and is designed with kids in mind but is also challenging for runners of all ages. The race begins promptly at 8AM!
Returning better than ever, the Kids Obstacle Course! A fun off road obstacle course through approximately 1 mile of fields and trails. Beginning at 9AM, kids will go out in waves to a variety of obstacles such as mud pit, tire run, tunnel crawl, hay climb, and more! Kids are not going to want to miss out on this awesome event!
(And we're not kidding about the mud so you may want to bring your child a change of clothes for the ride home.)
This is one of the most affordable family events you'll find.
PHS kids can participate in both the 5K and the Obstacle Course AND get a free t-shirt for just $15!
All other kids (anyone not attending PHS) can participate in both races and get a free t-shirt for just $20!
If your kid doesn't want to run the 5K, Obstacle Course only entry is just $10 (but you'll have to buy the t-shirt separately)
Adults can participate in the 5K (sorry guys, obstacle course is kids only) for $25 or $30 if you want a t-shirt.
These t-shirts were hot ticket items last year so register early to make sure you get one! T-shirts are only available through April 15th!
*The obstacle course is for kids of all ages however if you have young children, we recommend you go through the course with them.
