Description
This years run/walk, can be done in the comfort of your pajamas. A prize will be given to the runner with the coolest jammies. Every registration, will provide a new pair of pajamas to a local kid in need.
TJ’s is youth-led mission and worshipping community established in Swansboro in 2015. The non-profit was founded by Pastor Marcie Friesner, and partners with adult mentors to do outreach in the local community as well as mission trips abroad. TJ’s is named after Timothy and Jeremiah, two prophets in the Bible who were called by God at a young age. TJ’s is committed to encouraging youth in the development of their God-given gifts by building relationships. Additionally we build relationships with those hurting, living in poverty and in need of Jesus.
Your participation as a runner/walker will allow us to support local missionaries from Onslow and Carteret Counties. These men and women have traveled to various countries on mission trips with Alive2Love, IAAM, and within a group from the community doing missions in Eastern North Carolina, and are excited for their next mission.
