Description
Run Friends Run 5k is a race through the beautiful 54-acre campus of Friends Meeting School (FMS) and the surrounding neighborhood. The chip-timed 5k is part cross-country (on campus) and part road race. The pet-friendly, 1-mile, untimed, fun run takes place on campus. Coordinated by FMS parent volunteers, this event celebrates the benefits of physical exercise and community, and it raises money to support the school’s academic programs and staff.
RACE DAY SCHEDULE
Friday
* 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM Packet pick-up @ Friends Meeting School
Saturday (race day)
* 7:00 AM - Packet pickup @ Friends Meeting School
* 8:00 AM - Warm-up and stretching for runners
* 8:30 AM - 5K race start
* 8:45 AM - Pet-friendly fun run start
* 9:30 AM - Awards ceremony for top finishers
