Description
Join the ladies of She RUNS This Town Omaha for a fun run/walk, including a medal, nutrition, and lots of camaraderie! The Lower Platt South NRD has approved our using the MoPac East Trail on July 25th. Races will start promptly at 7 a.m., and conclude no later than 10 a.m. All are welcome to attend - including children in strollers and well-behaved pets on leashes. Your entry fee will pay the $1.00 user fee for each participant.
This is a casual walk/run; there will not be official timing. There will be prizes, but based on a lotttery - as well as a swag bag. There will be nutrition on the course, as well as water. And the local retail shops of Elmwood, as well as the scenic area of Grandpa's Woods, encourage you to make this a full day of fun activities.
No cancellations or transfers allowed. Race will be held unless an emergency situation is declared. IF UNSURE - notice will be posted on the Omaha She RUNS This Town Facebook page under announcements, which would include the date of the replacement event.
