Join us June 19-20 for a gravtastic weekend on some of the best gravel terrain Nebraska has to offer! The courses cover incredibly diverse terrain; rolling hills, steep climbs, fast flats, double track, single track, and ripping descents! We'll pedal past burgeoning corn and bean fields, pioneer gravesites, and even along original Oregon Trail wagon train routes.
Races start on Sunday, June 20 at 7 a.m., but you'll want to arrive early to take in the whole weekend. We have a few small, community-led group rides on Saturday before packet pick up. You'll be able to check out some super fun routes close to town that don't make it onto the race course! Back at Gering Civic Plaza, packet pick up will be from 4 to 9 p.m. to support physical distancing and the late arrivals. We'll have some live music playing and you'll be within walking distance of plenty of places to snag a bite to eat.

25 spots left - Registration turns off for good at midnight on May 1st!
We had a great year in 2020 despite its challenges. We implemented our now proven COVID protocol which resulted in zero cases connected with the event! The cooperation of riders, volunteers, sponsors, and media is what allows us to confidently move forward with the event June 19-20, 2021 and we can’t thank you all enough! Before we get too deep, know that rider cap is at 500 racers for 2021 to allow for plentiful physical distancing at our 100% outdoor venues and to keep our volunteers from getting overwhelmed in keeping the environment manageable.
A refund policy is in effect for the first time in RQD history. We had to make one up on the spot last year, and that wasn’t fun. This year, we’ll refund 100% of your entry fee or transfer 100% to 2022 at your request before March 31. 50% refund or 100% transfer before April 30. After that, we need to commit to our vendors to have supplies in place for race day on June 20 and won’t be able to offer refunds or transfers.
If you plan on joining us, take a look at what to expect over the weekend over at the schedule. Be sure to also take a look at the COVID protocol that worked for us so well this last year.
