Cow Pie Trail Run

The Cow Pie Trail Run route is a loop course traveling over gravel/dirt roads, cow paths, and the pastures of beautiful central Nebraska. The half marathon route goes through an old tree claim, beside a settler's cemetery, along an old wagon road, by windmills, and abandoned homesteads. This is the wide-open prairie of the pioneers! It is a tough course with holes, ruts, stickers, cow pies, and lots and lots of hills. But if the cows can do it, so can you!

Finishers will receive a "Cow Pie Finisher Cowboy Hat"! Participants who register at least one week in advance will receive a highly sought-after long sleeve cotton Cow Pie T-shirt! Delicious pork BBQ sandwiches await runners at the finish line along with hay rack rides and a bonfire!
