5 K timed race to honor the 140th anniversary of Chief Standing Bear’s landmark trial in Omaha, where for the first time Native Americans were declared persons in the eyes of the law, arguably the birth of the civil rights movement: and it happened here!

Finisher and age group awards, t-shirts and great swag! A fundraiser for Douglas County Historical Society and the Ponca Elders of Nebraska
