About Our Coaches

Scott Ramey: Scott Ramey is from Omaha and lives here with his wife and two daughters. He was enlisted in the active duty Army from 2004 - 2001.  Running was more of a requirement at first, versus actually wanting to run. After seeing his brother run the Boston Marathon in 2006, he set out to start training and found a deep love for the sport of running. He completed his first marathon in 2008. In 2019, he ran his first ultra marathon, a 50k in Kansas City. Since then, he has completed multiple ultras, ranging from 50k to 250 miles.

Scott has recently become a running coach and is gaining his certification from United Endurance Sports Coaching Academy (UESCA), focusing on ultra marathons. He is motivated by people running all distances.  Scott likes to encourage excitement and celebration with people’s day-to-day running, while still helping them achieve goals they have set.

Miguel Ordorica: Miguel Ordorica has lived in Omaha since 2002 and started running in 2010.  He ran his first marathon three months after his first run, which he wouldn’t recommend. A year later he saw a flyer marketing a 50k, which is something he hadn’t realized existed, but also decided he had to try.  His first 50k took just over twice as long as his most recent marathon, but he was hooked.

On a recent trip to Colorado, Miguel and his traveling partner were discussing all of the trail options in Omaha, and realized that not many people knew about all the different places we have to run here. Upon returning to Omaha and talking with Fleet Feet, “Off Grid” was born.  Miguel has been excited to help Fleet Feet grow running in the Omaha area, showing people new trails, routes, and adventures.
